  • Email Address: Used for authentication through Sign in with Apple.
  • User ID: A unique identifier used to manage your account and sync your likes, skips, and ratings.
  • Product Interaction Data: Information about titles you like, skip, or rate, used only to personalize your in-app experience.

We do not collect or store sensitive personal information such as your location, contacts, payment details, or device identifiers.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to provide and improve core app functionality, including:

  • Maintaining your personalized movie and show preferences.
  • Syncing your library securely across sessions.
  • Ensuring reliable app performance.

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, or analytics beyond app functionality.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your account and activity data are securely stored and managed through Supabase, a privacy-focused backend platform.
All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard security protocols.

We do not share, sell, or rent your data to any third parties.

5. Third-Party Services

Swipe’nPop uses the following third-party service:

  • The Movie Database (TMDB) — for metadata, imagery, and descriptions of movies and shows.
    TMDB content is licensed and publicly accessible under TMDB’s Terms of Use.

Swipe’nPop does not host, stream, or redistribute copyrighted media.

You may request the deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting our support team at support@swipenpop.com
If you signed in using Apple, you may also revoke access via your Apple ID settings.
